Vans SK8-HI MTE-2 brown men's sneakers with waterproof treatment

The Vans SK8-HI MTE-2 are brown men's high-top sneakers designed for everyday wear in colder and damp environments. They combine a suede and durable textile upper with a waterproof treatment and a reinforced toe for increased durability. A padded collar and insulated inner lining provide comfort and protection from the wind, while the outsole with a thick profile improves grip on uneven surfaces.

The classic SK8-HI silhouette is here modified for the demands of the colder months without significantly interfering with the visual. Internal insulation and a solid upper reduce the penetration of cold, which you will appreciate when walking or during streetball training in the cold season. The sole with a deeper tread can handle wet surfaces and provide confidence when walking in an urban environment.

Material

• Upper material: suede combined with durable textile, treated with a water-repellent treatment.
• Lining: insulated synthetic insert (fleece) for better thermal insulation.
• Sole: vulcanized rubber with a deeper profile for better grip on wet surfaces.
• Maintenance instructions: clean with a soft brush, do not machine wash, treat with impregnation suitable for suede and textile, dry at room temperature.

FAQ

• Are these sneakers suitable for snow and rain?
Upper has a waterproof finish and the sole has better grip, making them suitable for occasional rain and light snow; they are not intended for prolonged immersion in water or deep snow.
• How to care for them?
It is recommended to clean with a soft brush and a damp cloth, treat with suede/textile impregnation, let dry naturally and do not expose to direct heat.

Thestreets Tips

• Comfortable from the first wear, insulation is enough for colder days.
• The material seems durable and the color matches the photo, the sole grips well on wet pavement.
• Compared to classic SK8-HI, they are a little more robust, which you will appreciate in winter; they may become warmer when standing for a long time.
